Dr. Ronald B. Orr grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School where he completed an Honors periodontics program. He received a Masters of Public Health from Harvard University where he was awarded the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Fellowship in health policy and management. He received his postdoctoral clinical certificate in Periodontology from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is a former (1991-2016) Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity (Division of Periodontology), Part time, at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Orr is the founder and co-director of the Dental Synergy Group – a Greater Boston area dental study club.

Dr. Taraneh Naghieh holds both her General Certificate and Advanced Certificate of Education from the University of Cambridge, England, where she grew up. She obtained her B.A. degree in Biology from Boston University and further received her D.M.D. degree and Certificate of Advanced Education in Periodontology from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Naghieh completed a Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University, School of Dental Medicine and the Global Institute For Dental Education. Upon graduation, she received awards for Superior Clinical Excellence in Periodontology, removable and fixed Prosthodontics, an Honorable award for research presentation from the George A. Bates Society, and a Student Research Fellowship from the American Association of Dental Research.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, and International Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Naghieh is currently a part-time clinical instructor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She has been in private practice since her graduation.
Dr. Naghieh is passionate about the arts, physical fitness, reading, traveling, and community service. She is a patron of The Museum of Fine Arts and past overseer of Boston Architectural College.
